Middle School Advantage

I'm in a bid dilemna...help! Friend is taking advantage of me and...?

Because I was really socially inept, immature, and ugly in middle school, I managed to alienate myself because people who knew me found me immature and those who didn't know me were driven away by my looks. Anyways today I pretty much hang out with one other girl at school and she's really been getting on my nerves. She pretty much just takes advantage of people. She's racked up 90 bucks in debt with me (my stupidity in trusting her in middle school) and she's promised to pay me back but chances of that is wearing thin. She put in charge of her damn lunch like everyday and threatened to abandon me if I didn't. This sort of thing happens all the time, I always have to accomadate her such as provide her with rides, and she never does the same for me. ex: She takes my food without asking yet she would never let me do that. She hates doing things she expects me to do for her, and I want to just end it. But I don't want to risk not being paid back or being a complete loner...what do I do?

you are not likely to ever get your money back so don't use that as a reason to continue to allow yourself to be used, manipulated, abused, etc. by this girl. she sounds like a controlling bully who wouldn't dare dream anyone would dislike her behavior. why don't you prove her wrong. as far as friends, with a friend like that you sure don't need an enemy. she sounds horrid. i would rather be alone for a time than to have someone like her as a friend. and besides that if you get away from her, you might find you will make others friends. you are judged by the company you keep and she doesn't sound at all like good company. and by that i mean, she is no company, friend, ally, confidant and i also mean by company, if other people see her as she is, they sure aren't going to come around you. lose her and lose her quick. don't be mean about it and you don't sound like a person who would, just start a distance between her and you. just act like you are busy or heck anything to stay away from her. maybe she will change someday, but i wouldn't hang around waiting. good luck and you will make new friends. and i got a bet that they will be an improvement over her.
