In TN, can my daughter use a voice recorder in a public school as a study aid?

In the state of Tennessee, is my daughter allowed to use a voice recorder in class to record lecture and lessons as a study aid? She is currently in the 6th grade at a public school.

Yes, depends on the policy of the school and the instructor. Reminds of the show I saw where the students all came to class, put there voice activated recorders on a desk and left. So one day the instructor brought his own, turned on a prerecorded lecture ... and left. lol
