What is the difference between Adobe and Macromedia Dreamweaver?

I want to know what is the best, so I can start using ... And who is the best version CS3 or CS4? ... Thank you in advance ..

Adobe bought Macromedia. New versions of software are Adobe Macromedia brand. CS4 best. Dreamweaver is horribly expensive though. You're probably better off with a decent text editor (such as Komodo Edit).
