PHP to create a system for tracking inventory?
It is useful to take or use PHP to create a system to track inventory? that inventory records received and sold ... ............. transaction is recorded and generate reports ... Im thinking maybe all is not good because the system will not be based on the Web Whatever ... but can be used on any server on their premises .... Suggestions?
If you wish to access in a Web browser (Internet or intranet makes no difference) PHP is a very good option for the back-end software. Otherwise I'd even go with VB6 (there is a line of several million VB6 program which, among other things, no time inventory control real. No, the source is not available.) There are other languages that are much better if the program is running locally (even if the database is not local program teams to run on).
