If you truly believed that the Bible was the inerrant word of God, Creator of Time and Space...?

...what could possibly keep you from making the effort to learn the language that these texts were originally composed in, by God, through his inspired men?

I'm just saying, if I believed there was a book that was authored by the Ultimate Creator of the Universe, I'd damn well make the effort to read it in the original.

Are Christians lazy? Muslims read the original Arabic, Jews read the original Hebrew and Aramaic...

Well...*some* Christians can read hebrew and aramaic...of course those a few and far between. I can only assume that most of them dont take the time to learn for a couple of reasons. (reasons given by fundies)
1- It would take a long time, and its hard. While I are busy learning that..who will be out hounding those evil non-christians!
2- These is nothing wrong with the bible I read. God would never let his word be mistranslated.
3- What you mean God didn't write the Bible in English?
